I started out as a child.. born in Los Angeles. My parents moved to Kansas in 1980 and I grew up in a mostly white small town. They decided to move back to L.A. in 1986 and we lived in a small suburb of L.A. (Alhambra) for several years. After high school, I worked and went to school for two years before deciding that I wanted to go back to Kansas. I went to Emporia State University and graduated four years later. I had an aunt in Atlanta that invited me to stay with her and I took her up on the offer. I've been here ever since. I bought a home in 2001 and I've been doing making it through ever since. But lately, I moved to Kansas and dang, is it slow out here or what?
